Technology Overview

Plascan’s architecture is designed to integrate seamlessly with Plasma (XPL):

  • Smart Contracts: All staking, rewards, and governance logic is codified in open-source smart contracts deployed on XPL. These contracts undergo third-party audits and public bug bounty programs before mainnet deployment.

  • Modular Indexing Layer: Indexers run software that fetches, parses, and organizes on-chain data. Their performance and uptime are measured automatically, feeding into the reward mechanism.

  • Open APIs & SDKs: Developers can easily integrate Plascan data into wallets, DeFi protocols, analytics dashboards, and other applications. This openness fosters innovation and reduces reliance on proprietary endpoints.

  • Decentralized RPC Layer: Instead of relying on a handful of centralized nodes, Plascan’s RPC layer is run by community operators who are compensated in $PSCAN. This creates redundancy, reduces latency, and improves resilience.

  • Security & Verifiability: By anchoring all service provision to on-chain metrics and staking, Plascan minimizes the risk of tampering or low-quality service.

This stack transforms Plascan into a trust-minimized, composable infrastructure layer rather than a single-point-of-failure service.
